Welcome!

Welcome to our new blog - like it? I hope you do. This blog will hopefully live with us for quite some time, since the url isn't "place-bound." As life at Baylor comes to a close we have such a mixed bag of emotions. The good-byes are getting harder, but the excitement is also growing. The imminent questions are quickly needing to have some attention put to them, as are our empty boxes. We are caught between the big, wild adventure we are on the brink of embarking on and the minute-to-minute details of a dirty diaper, a boo-boo that needs to be kissed and the next meal we're eating.
Transitions are never easy, and we have a feeling this one may just rock us to the core. These days we are holding tight to each other and to the Lord. We know we are exactly where He wants us to be, doing exactly what He wants us to be doing - that brings some level of peace to our days. But when the empty boxes still have to be filled, and the goodbyes still have to be said, it takes everything in me to simply keep stepping one step at a time.
To our support system: we continue to appreciate all of the prayers and positive thoughts you send our way. You are all close to our hearts, especially in this time. Please come again and visit our new blog often. We hope to fill it with pictures and stories of our wild adventure of life! Ilana just woke up from her nap, so I guess I better stop procrastinating. :)

My thoughts in lyrics these days:
I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection

Why shall I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer
But THIS I know with all my heart:
HIS WOUNDS HAVE PAID MY RANSOM
